Hi Adrien. as I said in my previous message, windows may be the root you want to go down, not to mention the fact that the tablets are cheaper with windows on them. its a native interface that you could get used to. the battery life also lasts quite a while, i had mine going for a good few hours. i'd also buy an SD card though 32GB or greater as the tablet only has 32GB of onboard storage and if you want to upgrade windows, you'll need the extra space offered by the SD card. a bluetooth keyboard would also be useful. its also worth noting that on the 7 inch model, it only has 1 micro USB port. this port is used for plugging in pen drives, keyboards etc with the included OTG cable, but is also used for charging. so in other words if charging, you can't plug anything in to it. the larger 10 inch models I believe have more than 1 USB port. here's a link to the tablet.

all the best,

Mo.

Hi Mo

I use my ipad for things like skype, facebook, echolink,
word docs, etc, just like a alternative to my pc, I would
also use it for radio, ebooks and that kind of thing. I
would also use it for buying music if I could. I have just
been looking on amazon for nexus 7, they have them for £114
new, would need a keyboard too, I think this would be easier
for me. I just cannot get on with my ipad.

Regards

Adrien

Hello Adrien.

I guess the question is, what do you want from your tablet?
you can get
windows tablets as well as android tablets for as little as
£50 that
will be accessible for you to use. what did you have in mind
for a use case?

all the best,

Mo.

Hi guys

Ok I am seriously looking at tablets again, I have just
taken a look at amazon, there are loads of them, I typed
in
nexus tablets, I guess most tablets apart from apple are
android, I would prefer to stay with a well known make,
asus
etc, can someone please advise me? I have had my ipad a
year
and I am still struggling with it, would android be easier
for me?

I often buy music on iTunes, even though I am subscribed
to
Apple Music. I
never use a Bluetooth keyboard these days, I've just got
so
used to a
touch-screen. There do seem to be a lot of different
keyboard bugs that I
have heard about that aren't going away!

It should be said that there are occasions when even Apple
Music members
have to buy songs or albums.

Seems fine using the touch screen, I wonder if yet again
we
are discovering
more, possibly even worse, bugs with bluetooth keyboards

buy a song or
album wouldn't make sense to me.

Hi
I am trying to buy some music on the itunes store, I had
no
issues with it under ios 8 but for some reason on ios 9
it
is not
working for me, I am using a ultra thin logitech keyboard
as I am not
able to cope with touch screens. I go to the search
field,
type in the
name of the song or
artist
I want, hit enter and that is when I have problems, I
found
the song I wanted but the cursor jumped to the end of the
screen, I
managed to go back to the song in one occasion
but
when I double clicked on it, i.e. preview, nothing
happened,
on another occasion, I typed in adele, my ipad went all
strange I lost
focus on the itunes store, i.e voice over kind of
disappeared, I had
to close itunes store in app switcher and open it again,
on another
occasion, I clicked on an album to buy a song but
couldn't
see how to
go back
to
the list of available albums, I closed itunes store again
but when I
opened it again, it was stuck on the album I
was
looking at, how do I get around all of these issues
please?
