for example Adrian rather than doing a double tap on the screen you would have
quick now on and then you would press the up and down arrows together which
would simulate a double tap.

Hi Eleanor
My biggest problem is getting out of something once I am in for example when
I go into skype, I double tap on the contact I want to contact in skype for
example mum, but how do I go back i.e. back to the list of contacts, when I
was in the itunes store yesterday, I double tapped on an album and couldn't
find out how to go back to the list I tried even with the touch screen. I
have some of the books available in epub version those from Jonathan Mosen
etc. just need help getting in and out of apps or getting around apps. The
bottom keys on the keyboard don't seem to do much, the command keys etc.
Regards
Adrien

Adrian perhaps if you could explain what the issues are when you are using
the Bluetooth keyboard. I presume you understand about quick now on and quick
now off when you are in an edit field. if it is an issue of double characters
then there is a workaround that also.

Hi Mo
I have persevered with my tablet for over a year, perhaps I
just need to get some hands on help with it or get a better
keyboard, it is a logitech ultra thin, perhaps there is a
better one. I would like to master it before I change as I
have spent a lot of money on apps and what have you but if
there are bugs then another option would be the way to go.
At least with windows I have a lot of the software I would
need plus I already have a office 365 subscription I could
use. Where would I get some tuition locally?

Hi Adrien. as I said in my previous message, windows may be
the root you
want to go down, not to mention the fact that the tablets
are cheaper
with windows on them. its a native interface that you could
get used to.
the battery life also lasts quite a while, i had mine going
for a good
few hours. i'd also buy an SD card though 32GB or greater as
the tablet
only has 32GB of onboard storage and if you want to upgrade
windows,
you'll need the extra space offered by the SD card. a
bluetooth keyboard
would also be useful. its also worth noting that on the 7
inch model, it
only has 1 micro USB port. this port is used for plugging in
pen drives,
keyboards etc with the included OTG cable, but is also used
for
charging. so in other words if charging, you can't plug
anything in to
it. the larger 10 inch models I believe have more than 1 USB
port.
here's a link to the tablet.

all the best,
Mo.

Hi Mo
I use my ipad for things like skype, facebook, echolink,
word docs, etc, just like a alternative to my pc, I would
also use it for radio, ebooks and that kind of thing. I
would also use it for buying music if I could. I have just
been looking on amazon for nexus 7, they have them for
new, would need a keyboard too, I think this would beeasier
for me. I just cannot get on with my ipad.tablet?

I often buy music on iTunes, even though I am subscribed
Apple Music. Iso
never use a Bluetooth keyboard these days, I've just got

touch-screen. There do seem to be a lot of different
keyboard bugs that I
have heard about that aren't going away!
