If you follow the instructions I provided, you will see what devices are linked
to your Amazon Alexa account. When you receive your new speaker, if you have
chosen at time of purchase presuming you purchased it at amazon.co.uk to link
it to your account to simplify the setup process, the speaker should
automatically connect and set itself up. If not, once you have unboxed the
speaker and plugged it in, it will prompt you to open the Alexa app on your
phone to continue with the setup process.
All the best Ibrahim.

Hi I am not sure about the sterio bit as long as they both can do virtually the
same thing but when it arrives I will give it a go just one question how do I
find out what the speaker is that I already have? Janet

If you mean to stereo pair them, go into the Alexa app on your smartphone or
tablet, tap more, settings then device settings. You will need to select one
of the Echo Dot speakers you already have, then you will have the option to
make a stereo pairing which creates a group of the speakers and pairs them
together.
Hope this helps, Ibrahim.
