Correction noted. Thank you, Steve. Also, to be honest, I’m going to experiment
with both WP editor and post by email methods, until I settle on one. Using
Word to compose then copy and paste into WP editor is a good tip. Thanks again.

Hi Paul,
That’s excellent. thanks a lot for this.
Just to make sure I got it right, would you be so kind to check the below two
examples?
1. The text of the paragraph is: Paragraph one
<p styles="text-align: right;">Paragraph one</p>
2. The text of the hyperlink is: Click here for Google
<a herf="www.google.com">Click here for Google</a>
And one more question please, do you know if the text alignment code can be
used in the email’s subject field for the title?
Kind regards,
Amro

If you are going to be posting by email, then you'll have to manual format
the text before emailing. To align the text to the right you'll need to add
the following code per paragraph:
<p styles="text-align: right;">Your paragraph</p>
The same for making an active hyperlink. The code for adding a hyperlink is:
<a herf="place full link here">Your text here</a>
I hope that helps.
All the best, Paul

Thanks a lot both for your replies. Let me explain a little more. But first,
let me say I’ve read a little and had a poke around, and I think I’m making
some progress with WordPress. Now, I will be using WordPress.com and not the
programme. I found a very neat feature on WordPress.com called Post by
Email, where you send an email and WordPress convert it into a post and
upload it automatically. This method is sufficient, as I won’t be creating,
nor maintaining a website at this stage. I was invited to be an editor to an
already existing blog/website to publish my articles. Now I have only two
queries on the Post by Email method, and if someone can help me with them, I
think I’d be good to go.
When I sent an email to try Post by Email, the text of the article was
aligned to the right, but WordPress didn’t preserve this alignment, and
aligned the text to the left. The article was in Arabic, so the entire text
was aligned to the right. This is the more pressing issue of the two I have.
The other issue I faced was that the article had a hyperlink, but this
hyperlink appeared as normal text in the post rather than a hyperlink. I
think I will be able to figure out this issue, but it looks that the text
alignment problem is the one that needs some advanced knowledge.
Again, any advice is gratefully received.

WordPress is accessible, although I have found disabling Gutenberg and
using the Classic Editor is makes it easier to use with a screen reader.

Subject: [access-uk] WordPress accessibility
Hi all,
I was invited to contribute to a blog on WordPress. I’ve never used
WordPress before and know very little about it. Is it accessible and easy
to use with Jaws? Or shall I not waste my time?
All I need to do at this stage is to create new posts and post them on this
blog. I searched Google for tutorials about using WordPress with JAWS and
few results came back, but maybe someone could suggest a good tutorial for
a WordPress novice? Also, I checked the JAWS help files for any specific
WordPress instructions but unless I missed it there was none.
Any advice is most welcome.
