Hi Alexander.

Why not launch windows explorer and navigate to your Programs folder where you'll be able to select the shortcut and copy and paste it to your desktop?

Typicaly you'll get to your Programs folder by selecting Local Disc, Documents & Settings, UserId, Start Menu and then pressing enter on Programs to enter that folder. From there, locate the shortcut you're interested in and hit control + C to copy. You can now just hit backspace until you reach your desktop and hit control + V to paste the shortcut there. If you don't already have a shortcut in the Programs folder, use the 'Create Shortcut' option from the file menu when you reach the application .exe file in the Program menu.

Regards.

Hi again Roger,

I've just tried what you suggested, and even using the
method you suggested, the keystroke equivalent for which is
shift F10, the option I wanted didn't appear. I'd guess
this is because there is already an icon in the system tray
to access the program, but I'm by no means certain of that,
and would be interested to have a definitive answer on this
from other list members, but will use the method suggested
by Ibrahim for the moment.
