Andy,
JFW 9 does not officially support 7, nor does JFW 10. The main advantage from Vista over 7 is 7 uses less resources compared to Vista, so much so that it will run on today's netbooks.

Hi adrian,
Good choice. I bought mine from Amazon back in July when they were
offering it as a promotion. Home Premium was £50, Professional £100. I
paid the £50 for Home Premium. I'm not sure how much they are now, but
you can have a look for yourself.
I would say Windows 7 is far easier to use and more accessible
compared to XP. Ok there is a learning curve for you, as you're
skipping Vista (good for you), but all of us Windows 7 users like
myself will be able to offer assistance when required. Yes you will
have to do a full install as there is no upgrade path from XP like
there is for Vista.
Good luck in your purchase.

Hi

I have to reinstall xp on one of my netbooks, I am
considering installing windows 7, how easy is it to use and
I believe that I have to do a full install with xp, not an
up-grade? Where's the best place to purchase windows 7 and
how much should I pay for it?

Regards

Adrien
