They normally put transmitters on the hills though don't they? we have loads on the one behind us, radio transmitters, ones ofr the emergency services and the like, we can get satellite though but as i've said, know someone who can't, not here though.

The TV transmitter is actually along the coast from here which is handy as it avoids a lot of the mountains.

I live in wales in case you're wondering where all the hills come from!!

Hi Peter.

Unfortunately, yes. There is a large hill between my house and the transmitter mast. Perhaps if I wait for a year or so, I may get it from another mast but I'm fed up waiting if you know what I mean. Best wishes. Andy.

Are you sure that you are not in an area with freeview coverage?

Hi all.

I have been advised that I am not within a digital broadcast area for Preview. Despite being advised to the contrary on the internet. So, unfortunately, if I want more channels, then I've got to go to Sky. This is unfortunate because I really fancied purchasing the Nebula TV Card which Carol was talking about a few weeks ago. This card enabled you to watch TV on your computer and manage recordings of programmes etc.

Can anyone tell me if there is a similar card for Sky and if it is possible to have sky in the livingroom and have it on my computer, which is located in another room, at the same time?

Thanks.

Best wishes.
Andy
