I am afraid I have no idea about downloading from Audible, sorry.
One thing I forgot to say, and Jackie's message has reminded me, is I
can't stand the stupid tones on the Plextalk. There is absolutely no
reason why it should ding when you stop playing. The VRS does have some
beeping, but you can turn it off so it only beeps when you power it up
or power it off.
