Hi,
Depends on the device to be honest. But you need to tap lighter with Android
than iOS. iOS is more forgiving in the way you tap and I think that’s half the
problem.
All the best

hello Jackie,
I hear you!!!! It doesn't give as clear feed back, as far as double tapping
goes, you can't tell whether it worked instantly, and if it does, it delays.
And the layout of the OS is another thing I don't like:

I must admit, contrary to what Steve thinks, that Android is much less
responsive with Talkback than iOS is on an iPhone. If I double-tap on iOS, it
happens. If I do the same with Android, it nearly always doesn’t, and I have
to do it again.
I sympathise with you Tony, it isn’t for me either I’m afraid. Horses for
courses though. If Steve uses it all the time, then credit to him. But I
would have the phone in bits pretty soon if it were my only means of carrying
out tasks, I just hate it if I’m honest! (smile.)
Kind Regards,

Hi,
There’s a well considered opinion <Smile>. Seriously though, I would be
interested to know in what way? I use it every day for all my business needs,
but I think you’re a little lary of touch screens, like a lot of keyboard
users, and Android is certainly not great for keyboard use, but then neither is
iOS in all situations.
Generally though, Android is getting better and better and when N comes out in
May, there are some serious accessibility improvements, especially on the web.
All the best
Steve

Sorry but I'm gradually getting to the point that in my considered opinion,
Android for the blind is a load of crap!
Can explain later if anyone is really interested.
Cheers,

Using marshmallow
1. I often find the swipe right and down gesture difficult to bring down the
notification shade. When I use two fingers to scroll the message comes up
announcing the notification screen but it keeps reverting back to the home
screen. Is there another method?
2. Having double tapped the overview button, is there a way to dismiss all apps?
Thanks for any help.
