What do you mean by both apps? What you did there was background recording, which is a brilliant feature in Total Recorder, in which what you describe happens. GoldWave doesn't have any capturing capabilities, hence it recording everything! This is why I don't use it now and use Total Recorder instead. -- Chris Hallsworth e-mail: christopherh40@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx MSN: ch9675@xxxxxxxxxxx Skype: chrishallsworth7266 ----- Original Message ----- From: "Amro Bilal" <amro_bilal@xxxxxxx> To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, March 15, 2009 3:46 AM Subject: [access-uk] Re: Total recorder versus goldwave? I only tried both apps very briefly., But I noticed one thing, Chris. When I recorded a BBC radio stream using Total Recorder, only the stream was captured. My screen reader's speech and the Skype call conversation I was having at the time wasn't. That's good! Perhaps both apps can be configured to do that? Goldwave recorded everything...
