Hi Iain, I've done exactly the same for JAWS-UK and ACCESS-UK as BCAB. I also moderate Program-L and duxuser, and we don't get them there, so I'm baffled altogether. But I'll be on to Freelists and see what in heck is going on. As we seem=20 to have got rid of them on the BCAB list, can the same actions be taken (or=20 have they) on this list and the JAWS UK list? Hi list: Regarding the new chip and pin machines used in conjunction with online banking. For natwest customers, I have spoken to their online banking =3D dept and explained the problems as regards totally blind people and use of =3D the new equipment as stated in recent articles. I am awaiting a response as =3D to how blind people are to use the new system. It seems natwest are making this compulsary on their online banking system. I for one, am very =3D worreid indeed about the new technology, as while I have been assured it is DDA compliant, I am not so sure. To be compliant, wouldn't the pin pad =3D machine have to input the code into the edit field on the website, or the =3D machine speak the code out loud? Or can they get away with large print numbers? =3D If large print is enough to pass DDA compliance, totally blind people are disadvantaged significantly. Hope to hear from you soon. From Martin.
