I have a friend who has no vision and never has had any
vision. She is very pleased with it. Once she brought
it to me to see and I actually thought the sound quality
was good, the size portable and a very extensive ariel. I hate long ariels for psychological reasons, since
having had an accident where I lost my eye (sorry for the
gory stuff folks), I abhore long thin projections and
though it was not an ariel that went in to my eye they
just scare me in case I would have an accident with my
remaining eye that has sight.

So, do you have one, Eleanor and what do you think of
it? How accessible is it if you have no sight?

Hi all,

We're wondering if the time has come to buy a new
digital radio since ours was damaged when it fell from
a height some months ago.

Anyone bought anything recently that's relatively easy
for us to manage, or does anyone have one that they've
had for a while that's still available and good for us
to manage?

By the way, we're looking for something portable, so to
take batteries, but we do want a reasonable reception
too, so if smaller digitals aren't really there with the
good reception, please let us know.

Thanks for any comments.
