I also have a Pure Move and its reception is really quite good and better certainly than my Evoke 3. The downside of the Move from a "blind perspective" will be its lack of direct preset buttons which means it is somewhat more reliant on its display. I would suggest people try it with a friendly local retailer before committing to it The Move does not take dry batteries but has an internal recharable that seems to hold rharge quite well. The nearest radio in size to the Move that I have seen if the Roberts Ecologic 2 (which I think is a renamed version of something that I saw earlier this year) which will take dry batteries and has direct preset buttons.
