I have found that if you're still in the same place on your phone as when you answered, a flick left seems to put you on the right button to single double tap.

I haven't tried it enough times to be sure of its reliability but it did work for me a few times.

Yes, I have experienced this but I have a little theory: the two finger double click gesture starts/stop music from anywhere. So, when you try to hang up but it happens that the person at the other end beats you to it you end up starting music instead. Now even if this turns out to be the explanation, Apple should come up with a solution, e.g. disabling the start/stop music global gesture in the phone’s application.

Next time you have this problem you could try two finger double clicking again and see if that stops the music. My Apple music subscription has run out so I can’t test my genius hypothesis on my phone. *smile*

Has anyone heard of this weird anomaly that I can only assume is a bug?

Using an iPhone 6 and iOS 9.1, whenever I end a call, purchased random music
that resides on my phone starts to play, even though the Music app is not
active in the App Switcher. I have to go into the app and stop it playing.
How bizarre! I don't have difficulty ending the call, but as soon as I
terminate with the usual two-finger double-tap, music begins to play from my
library. I will report this to Apple, of course, but wonder if anyone else
has experienced it?

Kind Regards,
