It's difficult to deal with this bug as for most of us, it doesn't actually
exist.

Hi Jackie,
Disappointing is Apple's middle name lately. They have got very complacent

Hi Steve et also
Then I've obviously been fortunate not to come across it until now. I will
try it that way and see what happens. A bit disappointing from Apple though
if I am being honest.
Kind regards,

Hi Jackie,
This has always been around in some way or another. Presumably you are
ending the call with the two finger double tap? That happens sometimes if
you do it to answer as well.
The best way is to use the end call button, not the global gesture. It is
too unreliable.

Has anyone heard of this weird anomaly that I can only assume is a bug?
Using an iPhone 6 and iOS 9.1, whenever I end a call, purchased random
that resides on my phone starts to play, even though the Music app is notplaying.

How bizarre! I don't have difficulty ending the call, but as soon as Imy
terminate with the usual two-finger double-tap, music begins to play from
library. I will report this to Apple, of course, but wonder if anyoneelse
