You could try isopropyl alcohol.
I  buy it in 500mL plastic bottles from a small independent pharmacy, but no 
doubt you can find it on the web.

It is useful for all sorts of cleaning.  Finger prints around control knobs, 
front panels of equipment, etc etc.

It is also opten used for pre-injection swabbing of the skin.
