Hello Debbie, not having a go, but actually some older people could find it harder to understand certain speech synthesisers if their hearing isn't what it once was. The problem with this survey is that they are targeting older people, but making the assumption that older people are all alike, instead of thinking about the different situations different people may find themselves in during later life. Just a thought. Don't understand the point at all. Do you lose the ability to understand English as you get older. If so, this is something we all ought to know. Apologies for being flippant, don't have a go at me, I am only joking. It can't be that difficult! Wondering what a voice suitable for older people is? Surely the request should have been refused. I find it very hard to believe that a more accessible alternative could not have been found. Unfortunately the survey is not accessible to keyboard users. That's ok -- the primary audience is older users unfamiliar with assistive technology. We're looking to get about 50 responses. http://aaronius.polldaddy.com/s/speech-survey-uk Thank you, Aaron Aaron Leventhal Director of Product Management, SaaS 781-645-6000 www.aisquared.com -- Take action to ensure blind and partially sighted people don't miss out on vital care and support.
