Hi all, ...and from the original post, it's not ok, because among older users there are people who could not use the mouse due to limited vision and to manual dexterity issues (including wrist movement as you say, but also conditions such as Parkinson's disease). This makes bad business sense because a mouse-only survey of older computer users is bound to miss a sizable chunk of its intended audience. It's a bit like saying it's ok to send totally blind people large print, because fewer people use braille. It's a non sequitur. I do know of older users who cannot use a mouse because of wrist problems. Surely the request should have been refused. I find it very hard to believe that a more accessible alternative could not have been found. Unfortunately the survey is not accessible to keyboard users. That's ok -- the primary audience is older users unfamiliar with assistive technology. We're looking to get about 50 responses. http://aaronius.polldaddy.com/s/speech-survey-uk Thank you, Aaron Aaron Leventhal Director of Product Management, SaaS 781-645-6000 www.aisquared.com<http://www.aisquared.com> -- Take action to ensure blind and partially sighted people don't miss out on vital care and support.
