Jackie, having had one of the early Kaptens, I share your reservations. Its
journey from being a useless GPS to being a tolerable MP3 player to being
electronic waste with a battery that wouldn't charge was a very short one.
Caveat emptor. Hopefully this is totally unfair, and they've got better cince
then. The Kapten was never aimed at visually impaired people in my opinion, or
shouldn't have been.

Following Clive's post, I had a quick rake on Google, and came up with the
below link that takes you to more info about this phone. I am slightly
disenchanted already by the fact it is made by Kapsys if their Kapten GPS
stuff is anything to go by, but who knows? It could be the best thing since
a sliced home-made loaf! (smile).
