Hi Alison
Spotify along with other music streaming services are very good. As someone who
has bought stacks of cds o"er the years paying a subscription fee for such a
service means I can listen to a cd any time without purchasing it. Of course
£10 a month for Apple Music or £20 a month for Deezer is quite expensive but
the huge library of available music makes this worthwhile for me. It also means
I can find a cd that I want to play much quicker. Clive, I also use Shazam or
Siri in the way you do and not for purchase reasons but it's good to know this
option is open to us.

I saw in Access IT that Spotify was RNIB’s App of the Month so thought I’d
give it a try.
I’m still learning how to use it but I am impressed in that it allows you to
download tracks and keep a playlist without the necessity to purchase the
music – although I presume you can only listen within the Spotify App. The
free version is plagued with adverts but I don’t rely want to subscribe which
costs £9.99 a month.
