Hi Barry,
Yes, I believe it will recognise a Gmail address and all the associated
server settings, though like Mo, I don't have the instructions to hand.
All the best

Thanks, Steve. How does a user use one of their email addresses? Would it
be easier than setting up a gmail account? Let me tell you the scenario.
We are helping someone with a Synaptic tablet over the telephone and she
would like an email address. This is an elderly woman who is intelligent
but not familiar with tech.
Cheers

Hi Barry,
They do have their own Email addresses, but you can also set it up with any
Email address I understand.

Subject: [access-uk] Sending email from Synaptic phone
Hi all
I've a feeling that this is a stupid question, but do es a person using a
Synaptic device need an email address of their own to send an email? I've
just been told that Synaptic "have their own email address".
Thanks in anticipation.
Cheers
Barry
