even if you have an adsl connection, you can still use a premioum number
barring service, just to make sure.

Hi, is it the case that rogue dialers can't hijack your net connection and
rack up huge phone bills if you've got an ADSL connection and don't have a 56K
modem connected to the phone line? I just did an online scan for threats on
the Symantec site which detected dialer.generic on my system but am I right
that it doesn't really matter because of the ADSL connection?...cheers
