Pele and all

Thanks for comments. Paul I'm afraid your message appeared blank.

Even if 5 Live Sports Extra was not broadcasting I should have thought that
it should have appeared when the radios were set to auto-scan. It showed up
on the listings on my phone.

Hi Jackie and Everyone

Apologies for being pedantic, but Sports  Extra on DAB does not play the
jingle all the time like the internet stream or Freeview.

You get it for a short time before and after a sports broadcast.

Could it be that the volunteer came round when there was nothing
broadcasting? Could the radio receive 5Live and other BBC national
stations?
