Hi Graham

Firstly, I get inconsistencies on the train with DAB altogether, not just the Move. When I've gone to Aberdeen with it, which is my normal route these days, I could chuck it out the window. I can't seem to get much, and my presets don't really help because the radio just isn't that good anyway on the move, if you'll pardon the pun. I always take it out with me though, and I find walking about with Five Live on in my handbag if I'm listening to the footie is fine. It's just on trains I have a problem with it more, and DAB generally. My favourite use for it is in the bathroom where I can pull out its handy little stand and perch it on the window-sill.

Similarly, when we went to Fort William, it was useless as well, and I couldn't even get a signal in the hotel or outside it. So I took an analogue as a precaution, and of course that wasn't too bad in parts.

I do find the controls a bit sluggish sometimes, and it infuriates Ian more than me because he was always an analogue man, and doesn't like DAB as much as I do. But I know how to press the jog and wait a fraction of a second before I do anything else, and find that works a treat.

I don't access the menu facility whatsoever. When I bought the radio in January this year, I got the staff in Argos to tell me what each button did so that I could bring it home and get it up and running. Then I had to work out how to preset it, and once I'd figured it, I had no problems from then on in.

Hope that helps.

Jackie

Hi Jackie. Do you ever use your Pure move while on a long journey? I do
quite like doing this but obviously some local stations become unavailable. I have tried using info from the print instructions to get to trim stations
in the menu but I have sometimes found this inconsistant. Do you use the
menus for things and do you find a delay after pressing controls?

Regards

Graham

Hi, I've just ordered one of these and wondered if anyone knows of a
source for instructions in an accessible format?

   All the best,
   Barry G
