Hi Madleen,

Are the two chargers not slightly different. The output voltage for the PTR1
is 10v, and that for the PTR2 is 12v; not a lot of difference I know. I paid
£24 for my new PTR1 charger; was I just lucky?

Regards,

Mike

Hi all, I discovered yesterday that my PTR1 has stopped charging.

Its plugged in at the moment but I'm told only has a battery level of 1.
When its connected to the power supply it should say either charging or
something like on AC power.

My guess is that the adapter has gone, a fuse blew last week and I'm
guessing the adapter was blown then.

Does this sound reasonable, or is it more likely that the battery itself has

gone. I'll have to ring the RNIB later to find out if they still cell power
supplies or batteries for the PTR1.
Cheers
Yusuf
