Hi Catherine.

If your using windows vista, it depends on which version you are using as to whether there is or is not dvd support already built in. Versions of Windows Vista from home premium upwards include a dvd decoder as standard with the exception of vista business. Are you receiving any error messages when you launch windows media player as to dvd playback issues?

All the best, Ibrahim.

Subject: [access-uk] Playing DVDs in Vista

Hi,

What are people using to play DVDs in Windows Vista? When I put a DVD
in I get the options of Windows Media Centre and Windows Media Player.
I can't find any controls with JAWS in Windows Media Centre. In
Windows Media player I've found a list of all the titles/chapters but
pressing Enter or Space on them doesn't do anything.

On XP I was using Power DVD. Can this work in Vista? Or what are people using?

Catherine
