Hi,

Not the recorder, but the computer.

Go into Device Manager when the Olympus is plugged in. Find it in portable
devices and remove it. Then unplug and plug back in the Olympus. Now
Windows will redetect it.

All the best

Steve

Subject: [access-uk] Olympus recorder not showing up on desktop

Hi,

My LS100 has stopped appearing on the desktop when I connect it to my
computer.

It makes a noise when I plug it in and it says 'battery charging' but it
doesn't appear to be connected.

Please can anyone suggest what settings it's worth checking on the recorder?

Thanks,

Sunil
