Hi, Not the recorder, but the computer. Go into Device Manager when the Olympus is plugged in. Find it in portable devices and remove it. Then unplug and plug back in the Olympus. Now Windows will redetect it. It makes a noise when I plug it in and it says 'battery charging' but it doesn't appear to be connected. Please can anyone suggest what settings it's worth checking on the recorder?
