go into the NVDA menu with insert N. Down arrow once to preferences. Right
arrowthen down arrow to voices then enter. Tab to rate, then having set it to
what you want, tab to the ok button.

I am using Windows 7 and have installed NVDA and cannot find out how to alter
the speech so that when I type I hear just words and not letters – also,
someone had a female voice how do I acquire this? Can it be whichever
Microsoft voice I am using?
