Hi Graham, Is the pactmate very portable? I do travel to meetings rather a lot, and need something reasonably portable to take with me. Many thanks. The pacmate runs on a cut down version of windows and comes with pocket jaws and the voice you are already used to and also includes pocket versions of word and excel. So as I say if you are already used to jaws, windows and office it shouldn't take too long to learn it. Have supplied and trained on three of these this year and really like it as a product. The Braille note is still using humanware's own keysoft software if I am not mistaken which wouldn't feel or function like Microsoft products or jaws and as I say would take Longer to learn than something that looks and feels more like windows. Does anyone have any recommendations for a note taker. I need something preferably with speech and a braille display, something portable, and something I can do most functions I can do on a desktop pc, e.g. e-mail, write documents, calendar, etc. Any suggestions/recommendations much appreciated.
