Could Windows Fire wall be blocking the installation? Just a guess.

Ask for your money back, and download a trial of AVG Security Suite.
It's got the usual AVG anti-virus, as well as AVG anti-spyware, AVG
anti-spam, and AVG firewall. It's fully accessible. Sorry to hear you've
had trouble, but Norton's not worth it mate.

Hi all,

I recently purchased Norton Internet Security 2007 but am having problems installing the ... Thing. When the installation gets to 'finalising installation' it just stops. When trying to restart Norton, it tells me the configuration programme is incomplete and to press continue, which when done, does absolutely nothing. This problem does not seem to feature on the Symantec website at all, and they've not responded to my email asking about it. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the product, and even got Amazon to send me a replacement cd in case the first had something wrong with it. Nothing has worked, any suggestions anyone?

I use Jaws 7.0 and am currently relying on the windows firewall and AVG
antivirus which doesn't feel like much protection on the net. I've been
using Norton Internet Security for the last four years and until now,
have
never had a problem.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.
