Jackie I can't see that being the case going by Apple's history! They have
realized not everybody can afford the latest and greatest so they reduce the
price for the older generation models which has just started with the Apple TV.
I'm sure the third generation Apple TV will be around for the forseeable
future, until the next gen Apple TV comes along and vice versa.
