Alasdair, Despite my initial problem, I think that the inclusions of the two functions in a single program is an excellent idea, and I would not rush into abandoning it. And when the final release has its own "Manual" everything should be quite clear. It may be imagination, but I have felt that the sound quality may be somewhat better than with the old Listen Again - and it is certainly more responsive. Just hope that the bBC do not make even more changes to "break" your code!
