I don't mind the note, and am not going to lambast its design or anything else.
I would only reiterate that you would need to be a little careful when being
handed one with a receipt at the same time in your change, as happens, until
you have time to further determine what is the note and what is the receipt!
When you are in a hurry at a till and want to make way for the customer
standing behind you, it might be easy to thrust the fiver in your pocket
thinking it is the receipt.

I have had an opportunity to look at and feel this new 5 pound note today. I
have some residual vision, however,l however, I find it very difficult to
believe that there has been input from organisations for the blind in relation
to the design of this note. there has been some discussion on list about the
note and all I can say is I will do my best to avoid having such a note in my
purse! let's hope that when the new £10 note comes in in 2017 that it will be
more user friendly to visually impaired and blind people.
