Thank you all for your inputs. Most helpful. Yes I am aware of netbooks
limitations. I need a light weight machine to browse and check emails while on
the move. However I want something that can handle Jaws. Off to check your
suggestions.

Thanks again.

  Hi Amro,

I've been similarly searching for a new higher spec netbook, and think I've
finally decided on the Inspiron m101z from Dell.

It has a 11.6 inch screen, comes with 2gb of ram, and 250gb hd as standard,
but can be supplied with 4gb and a 320gb hard drive. I also seriously
considered the Asus 1215n, with 2gb of memory and 250gb hd. Both machines ship
with a full version of windows 7 rather than the scaled down win 7 starter
edition.

Both pc's have good reviews, however the Asus does appear to exhibit some
flexing in the keyboard.

I just hope the keyboard on the Dell is comfortable from a VI perspective, as
I haven't seen it.

  Hth, and best regards,

  Tim.

Hello all, sorry if this topic has been discussed before but new netbooks
are becoming available every day... So, my question is please, do you have a
recommendation for a new netbook? I am looking for something powerful in terms
of processor speed and ram capacity. Hard drive size is not a big issue for me.

    TIA,
    Amro
