Hi Tony,

I wouldn't use it in a work environment, I think it is unstable. But it
could be OK for a casual user. Haven't tried it in Excel yet, but it
doesn't seem to like Office too much on my machines. I'll give it a going
over when I have time.

And yes, I do sell Window-Eyes, and I still believe you gets what you pays
for.

All the best

Steve

Wonder Steve then would it be good enough for say beginners or such but
not be so good for people such as using Access for example?

Can't be all that bad surely!

Could you please elaborate on your thoughts of NVDA?

Thanks

Tony

Hi Chris,

Now you are being silly <Smile>. I downloaded it this morning, deleted the
old version and tried it again. Still crashes within Outlook 2003 and 2007.
In fact, it crashes Outlook itself. Horrible program it is.

All the best

Steve

Please please try it again. Perhaps you are using an older version. I cannot
prove this though. Mind you we are all different <smiles>.

Hi chris,

I don't enjoy. It still can't access messages in Outlook 2007. If you start
reading down, it crashes Outlook. It may be open source, but it is the most
unstable screen reader I have seen for some apps.

All the best

Steve
