Hi, No argument from me, but you used the word buy. it should be clear that in this model, you are renting, not buying, the software. By my calculation, presuming the price remains the same, it would take you just over five years to pay the £380 currently being asked by Microsoft for their professional programs. In that time, you would receive updates to the latest versions of office, all applications and all the other benefits as outlined in my earlier message. There is no comparison, Microsoft clearly want you to go the subscription route. It's cheaper for you, more profitable for them and if I'm being honest, the future of premium software distribution. For that price, you don't buy Office 365, you rent it. So if you decide not to renew after a year, it's gone. That seems too good to be true. Also, I still do not understand why you wish to buy an old version of office wen for the same price you can buy office 365.
