Hi,

Must admit, I don't like those virtual ribbons. If you learn to do it without
them, you can use any screen reader with Office.

All the best

Office 365 uses ribbons, but if you are a Jaws user, you can select to use
virtual ribbons which makes the menus far more usable. In all other respects,
there is very little difference between the way the 365 versions of Outlook and
Excel work compared with those found in Office 2007.

Caroline.

Hi

If I went for office 365, I only use outlook and excel, I use jart for writing
documents or even the atlas word processor, would 365 work just like outlook
2007 does or is it ribbons?

Regards

Adrien

Steve

As a counter argument, when compared with the full cost of office professional,
office 365 is excellent value for money. By my calculation, presuming the price
remains the same, it would take you just over five years to pay the £380
currently being asked by Microsoft for their professional programs. In that
time, you would receive updates to the latest versions of office, all
applications and all the other benefits as outlined in my earlier message.
There is no comparison, Microsoft clearly want you to go the subscription
route. It's cheaper for you, more profitable for them and if I'm being honest,
the future of premium software distribution.

        Hi,

Let's just clarify something. For that price, you don't buy Office
365, you rent it. So if you decide not to renew after a year, it's gone.

        All the best

        Hi Ali

I just had a look at the website, a copy of Microsoft office
professional for £77? That seems too good to be true. Also, I still do not
understand why you wish to buy an old version of office wen for the same price
you can buy office 365.
