Hi Adrien As someone who now uses 365, I can tell you it all uses ribbons. I can now get round Outlook and Word for what I want to do. Sometimes I have to mess about in the various menus to find what I am looking for because it almost certainly isn't in the place it used to be in 2003. But I get there, and now I'm not so daunted by the pointless ribbon system. By my calculation, presuming the price remains the same, it would take you just over five years to pay the £380 currently being asked by Microsoft for their professional programs. In that time, you would receive updates to the latest versions of office, all applications and all the other benefits as outlined in my earlier message. There is no comparison, Microsoft clearly want you to go the subscription route. It's cheaper for you, more profitable for them and if I'm being honest, the future of premium software distribution. So if you decide not to renew after a year, it's gone. That seems too good to be true. Also, I still do not understand why you wish to buy an old version of office wen for the same price you can buy office 365.
