Hi again.
It was Lewis Crack who told me that the notes do not appear in emails, he also
said he
does not really use
the Brailliant and I kind of came to a full-stop when asking for his assistance.
If I attempt to re-set my email with the app it tells me this email address is
alo being used but I don't have another email address to try.
I suppose I must just forget this function.
Mandy.

Hi Mandy and Jackie,
I agree with what Jackie said. Speak to Lewis. He’s very, very good. He
helped me when I first got my BI 14 and I managed to get my notes setup with
both a Gmail address and another email address. Once setup it worked
incredibly well.
All the best, Paul

Hi Mandy
I’m afraid I don’t understand why HumanWare says this is not the case as it
most definitely allows me to receive a copy of my notes by Email. I
downloaded the Brailliant Sync app from the App Store on my iPhone 8,
followed all the instructions for pairing and adding whatever Email account I
wished to use, and that was that. My notes are also in grade two on the
device, and read correctly in the body of my Emails as well.
I find Lewis Crack at HumanWare very obliging, so if you haven’t spoken to
him, ask if he can assist.
Kind regards,
Jackie Brown

Hi All.
I really like the Brailliantbut still can’t work out the notes function since
Jackie says her notes appear in emails, when I have spoken to someone from
Humanware they say this doesn’t happen so how can that be?
Obviously Jackie is not lying or misrepresenting anything: so what exactly
is the function of syncing notes: mine seem also to appear in grade one
Braille I am confused: please tell me again what exactly what should happen?
I am sorry to return to this topic again.
Mandy.

If you put a note in your Gmail folder on the Brailliant, It will appear in
the Gmail folder in your notes app. I haven't discovered away yet of viewing
Gmail notes on my PC.
If you want to find out probably all there is to know about the Brailliant
BI14, I recommend the tutorials from the Mystic Access website. They are
produced in conjunction with Humanware and are free. The website is
www.mysticaccess.com and you'll find the tutorials in the Free Downloads
section under Humanware Products.
I would certainly recommend the BI14 as a device which works very well as
both an input and output device.

Hi Ian,
Many thanks for that unfortunately, the focus ones are too much just for a
back up and as I have asked for this as a Christmas present from my family
it's a bit tricky.
Now Does anyone else know the answer to my notes synk question about
accessing the notes in Gmail on the PC once they have been synked using the
IOS app? Also someone said you need drivers for JFW but then someone else
at humanware said it's just selecting the bi14 from JFW list of braille
displays.
Please may someone confirm whether I need the drivers or not. Also can I** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:-
type in UEB by default as this is my prefered Braille code and are the
menus shown in UEB too.
Many thanks

PS
As I have Gmail turned on in the notes app does this mean that each time a
note would synk to the notes app from BI 14 it would show up in Gmail
anyway I did have a go at testing this on the IOS notes app with my Apex
and it did work but as I haven't got a BI 14 I can't check it would work in
the default notes app on there.
