That is strange. Do you have the folders such as Inbox, Draft, Archive, Sent,
Rubbish, Junk Mail, Conversations, Notes … in Outlook? When I sync my BI 14
with my iPhone the notes always appear in my notes folder in Outlook 365. Never
my Inbox.

Hi all,
If you are using Gmail in Outlook the notes don’t appear in your inbox folder,
they’ll appear in your notes folder. After updating the firmware on my BI 14 I
had to reset my notes both in-app in the iPhone and on the Brailliant itself.
I can write a step-by-step if you need it.

Are you both using Outlook as your default Email client? I am using Office 365
with my Gmail address delivering all my mail to Outlook. It’s very strange as
receiving a copy of all my notes is the norm for me.

I really like the Brailliantbut still can’t work out the notes function since
Jackie says her notes appear in emails, when I have spoken to someone from
Humanware they say this doesn’t happen so how can that be?
Obviously Jackie is not lying or misrepresenting anything: so what exactly is
the function of syncing notes: mine seem also to appear in grade one Braille I
am confused: please tell me again what exactly what should happen?

If you put a note in your Gmail folder on the Brailliant, It will appear in the
Gmail folder in your notes app. I haven't discovered away yet of viewing Gmail
notes on my PC.
If you want to find out probably all there is to know about the Brailliant
BI14, I recommend the tutorials from the Mystic Access website. They are
produced in conjunction with Humanware and are free. The website is
www.mysticaccess.com <http://www.mysticaccess.com> and you'll find the
tutorials in the Free Downloads section under Humanware Products.
I would certainly recommend the BI14 as a device which works very well as both
an input and output device.

As I have Gmail turned on in the notes app does this mean that each time a
note would synk to the notes app from BI 14 it would show up in Gmail anyway
I did have a go at testing this on the IOS notes app with my Apex and it did
work but as I haven't got a BI 14 I can't check it would work in the default
notes app on there.
