Peter, I had this problem when using Window-Eyes 5.5 demo and Office
2000. However, I'm now using Office 2003 and performance has vastly
improved, even without updates! I'm not saying, "upgrade to Office
2003"; I'm just giving my views on the problem since I had it. Hope that
