go again now and will see what happens.

  ... hmmm!  I'm hopeful that I'm not going to get you worrying here ... but 
just a little thought.  When first I started making folders in Outlook Express 
I made quite a mess of it because I didn't realise that, to keep it tidy and be 
able to get to the folders easily, it was best always to make them from the 
In-Box, so that they then are placed below this level and not on the level with 
those already made.  If you're having a problem with folders, it may be that 
you've got them a bit messed up, so worth checking this.

  I've never used the message rules as I prefer to read all from the In-box and 
then transfer manually as I want them ... so can't really help you there, I'm 
afraid.
