Hi,

I've got some photos I've scanned, and I need to get the file sizes smaller
to send to the person who needs them. Does anyone know how to do this? I
suppose smaller file size means poorer quality pictures, but how does one do
that once the photos are already scanned?

When I scanned them in there were options for different qualities (and
therefore different file sizes), but the only programs I currently have to
deal with them are Microsoft Photo Editor and Paint. I don't know whether
there's a way in those programs to save as a smaller file. I'd rather not
have to scan them again.

Catherine
