Eleanor

There is a full list of JAWS keystroke commands within the help menu which is
divided up into sections. Use the Insert+j key combination and look within the
help sub-menu.

Also when focus is on a particular program like Outlook Express for example,
Insert+h and Insert+w will bring up a list of helpful JAWS and Window keystroke
commands.

Finally your friend might want to check that the keyboard configuration is set
to "laptop" within the JAWS settings: Insert+j, then options, then basics.

  Subject: [access-uk] Jaws for Beginners

  Hi
I am looking for some information on using JAWS without having to plough
through the JAWS manual. I suppose I am looking for a list of commands. What
would anyone suggest. Litterally from when the PC is turned on to putting the
focus on the desktop and opening Word and E-mail.

  Thanks.

  Eleanor
