Hi Tony and others I should have said the person is using a laptop and not a
QWERTY keyboard and so the commands for Jaws might be different on a laptop.

    Eleanor,

Following on from what Dave wrote there certainly used to be at any rate a
Jaws quick reference guide which gave the basic Jaws keystrokes you would need
to get going!

I have an old copy in Braille and only need to refer to it periodically
nowadays!

Never be feared of diving in to a manual, you might be pleasantly
surprised with its results.

      Hi
I am looking for some information on using JAWS without having to plough
through the JAWS manual. I suppose I am looking for a list of commands. What
would anyone suggest. Litterally from when the PC is turned on to putting the
focus on the desktop and opening Word and E-mail.

      Thanks.

      Eleanor
