Hi Barry.

As far as Jaws and ITunes goes, I'm using Jaws 11 and ITunes 10 and have
absolutely no problems using all of the ITunes functionality with no additional
scripts although I would have to say that I rarely purchase from the ITunes
store and accessing the store is very different to using the player and media
management aspects of ITunes.

If you're set on the nano rather than any other Ipod, then I think the
following is correct for the various generations but more than happy for others
to correct me.

I wouldn't buy any Nano older than 4th generation. This model doesn't use
VoiceOver but uses voice generated tags to give access to your music and the
menus of the Nano.

The 5th generation is the model that first started using VoiceOver I think.

The 6th generation definitely uses VoiceOver and now has a touch screen rather
than the physical wheel control that earlier versions used. I think the Nano
6th generation is a lot smaller than the previous generations because of this.

I have a 4th generation model with the physical wheel control and voice tags
and this was my first dip into Apple players. I always felt they were pretty
weak musically prior to this but they have really taken the musical playback
quality of their products very seriously since.

Regards.

Hi folks, I know there's loads of iPod users out there!

I'm going to bite the bullet of having to let iTunes take over my computer
and by myself an iPod Nano as none of the other MP3 players I have play music
anything like as well.

There have been several different generations and I can get hold of
supposedly new iPods of pretty well all of them on E-Bay. I was wondering
which version is most accessible using the VoiceOver system built into the
Nano?

Also, which version of iTunes is most accessible using JAWS and does it work
better with any scripts that anyone is aware of?

Many thanks in anticipation and all the best,
  Barry G
