To add, I've just tried right clicking on a video link and I chose "Copy shortcut" from the popup menu and it worked. Maybe you need to focus your screen reader properly on the link. Using Jaws, I find the best way of doing this is to use the "move to link" button on the links dialogue (Ins F7).

Peter, so what happens if you activate the link (enter) of the video you want rather than right clicking on it? Doesn't the video you're after start playing? If it does, then copy the URL to Pontes.

I use both Pontes Media Downloader and Video Downloade Helper with Firefox all the time. When I find the link of the video I'm looking for, I personally shift enter on the link to play it in a new window, copy the address from the new page then close it.

Have I understood your question correctly?

Thanks for that. My question was really in regards to links within the page rather than the address of the page. Supposing for example there are several videos on the page and you only want one of the videos. I did look on the web but it said to right click on the link and look for an option to copy the address. However, when I tried this such an option did not appear.

Re your second question, just open the page of the video you want to download as if you're playing it online normally, press F6 to focus on the address bar then copy and paste in Pontes Media Downloader.

As well, in Pontes Media Downloader, Tick the box that says "Download only current file- prevent play list downloading", unless you'd actually like to download play lists obviously.

    Using windows 7

    Two questions

    1. Recently I think somebody posted that you-tube was usable and
listed the commands. I can’t find the e-mail. Am I right and if
so can anybody  direct me to a learning source please.

    2. I have just downloaded Pontes Media Downloader. In order to
use it you simply copy the URL  into the programme, select the
type of file you want and press the download button. But how do
you identify the URL  of a particular video  where you have
several videos on the page. I tried going to the link and
pressing the applications key but none of the options seemed
    relevant.

    Thanks for any help.
