Hi everybody, just thought I'd put in my two penneth re free anti virus offerings. I used to run AVG, but have changed to the free edition of Avira Anti Vir. It is a lot less resource hungry than AVG, and it also has an anti fishing component, which AVG free edition doesn't.

                   John.

Hi Barbara,

Why free? Eset is the most accessible I know. Why don't people like paying
for things that work? <Smile>.

All the best

Can anyone recommend a good free anti-virus program which could be easily
managed by a JAWS user with not extensive technical skills? The person wants something free and which does not require exttensive PC knowledge to manage.
Preferably not AVG.

Thanks for any suggestions made.
