Hi,
As far as I know, they don't have the E12 yet.
All the best

Hey Jackie, you can add this device as a fisher price toy be it more
expensive.
Also why not these days does it not have digital radio on it?

Hi Clivean
I agree with your comments. I think the buttons are quite close
together, even with tactile markings, and may cause a problem for
those whose finger sensitivity is not as it could be. You do get
used to it though, but something worth noting. I also agree with
you about the aerial and the radio not having a stand or stable bottom.
For those who know it, the Pure Move radio is very similar in size
to the Evo12, it really does feel like a radio when you first take
it out of the box. The sound is really good, and there are multiple
voices to choose from. The one thing I really don't like about it
though is the alphanumeric system it uses. I thought I was playing
with my little grandson Ezra when inputting letters, A for Apple, B
for Banana, C for Cat, D for Dog, E for Egg, etc. Come on, that's just
plain daft!
When you enter the letter S, it confusingly says See or Sea, which
makes you wonder for a split second if you entered a letter C. That
definitely needs to be modified,
d sped up as well.** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:-
I have been figuring out how to play podcasts and Internet radio stations,
and have quite a few stored now. You can either search by entering letters
and digits to find what you want, or you can search by country, genre, etc.
I had great difficulty finding the space to separate words, but Steve
solved that one, you don't use 0 as you would on the VRS, you tap number 1,
then arrow right once.
So once you search for a podcast or station, you can add it to your
Favourites list by pressing the menu key, or stream it live. Let me tell
you that there are literally hundreds you can look for in comparison to
OoTunes on the VRS.
I'll do my best to help with queries, I'm still learning and playing myself.
Kind regards,
Jackie Brown

Subject: [access-uk] Evo E12 - a great product!
Hello everyone,
I took delivery yesterday of my Evo E12 and I am very pleased with it. I
soon had it connected to our wifi network, manually entering the password.
The FM radio reception is excellent and I now have it tuned to our local
BBC radio station. The sound is superb through its stereo speakers. I
have noticed it doesn't stand up very well on its bottom edge and has to be
leant against something to stop it falling over. This is necessary when
using the FM radio which needs the aerial extended.
One thing to note: The buttons are quite small and close together. The
dots help, especially the two dots on the 5 button, and it is easy to press
the wrong one until you are used to the layout.
Having come from the Victor Reader Stream which has internet radio
playlists and podcast feeds, how is this done on the Evo E12? Any help
with this is most appreciated.
Best wishes,
Clive Pallett
