HI Mary,I have had no problem with my Pen Friend, which I have had about a week. The only suggestion I would make is that it is important to hold the record button down before you get near the label you wish to record and keep it down all the time you speak.

Hi to all those using the Penfriend. Mine arrived the other day so I read the instructions and started to label. I found the on/off switch worked fine but the record button seemed hit and miss. It took me about fiveattempts before it would record a tin of salmon and several tries before it would record sardines. I am on the label and holding the record button down so do users think I may have a faulty one, or are any of you having the sameproblem?
